- Leverages an engagement with art to explore cancel culture and controversy

- Supports critical thinking and analysis through discussion of controversial objects, the relationship between markers' complex biographies and the objects they produced, as well as how we can ethically and responsibly engage with objects created by makers whose actions and views are deemed controversial and/or harmful

- Enhances visual literacy and observation skills, providing students with skills needed to grasp all available information and form well-rounded conclusions
